Our Story

In 1890, Wang Yuanlu, a Chinese Taoist priest, unearthed a set of mysterious trigram symbols within the Yijing manuscripts at Dunhuang's Mogao Grottoes. Inscribed upon faded silk, these symbols were annotated with the words: "Fate is not fixed; choice is power."

Inspired by this discovery and the arcane divinatory arts of China's Yijing, we transformed the yin-yang yao (broken and unbroken lines) into geometric motifs, cradled in the craftsmanship of modern jewelry. Thus was born AuroraZen—a brand rooted in the soul of Chinese divination, refashioned for contemporary aesthetics. Its purpose: to kindle a dialogue between the ancient wisdom of augury and the modern quest for self-discovery.
